Why do you blog?

Why do 55 millons persons blog? .. why do i blog? .. i really dont have an answer to that question.
There's all kinds of blogs... which one are you? .... personal, news, software, photography.. ??

First of all i decided to write in english ... so most people understand what i "try" to say. My first entries are related to some intersting news, for example, global heating, cientifics news, and even about my son's birthday.... but who cares about my son's birthday other than me and my family ?, for news you probably watch CNN.

I think that blogging is about interesting contents sharing ... for example ... i won't describe every thing i do in my job.. but if i resolve a problem working with an Oracle Database, i will share it... even if there's a thousands of Oracle DBA bloggers. If i found an interesting tip i will post it.

And finally if there's nothing interesting to say, i will post it anyway...

So, why do you blog ??? (just leave a comment)

I blog because I'm addicted to writing, lol. I think everyone blogs for their own reasons. Of course most bloggers hope to make some money at it. Your blog is great because you are just being yourself, it's very nice to read your posts. Have a good day!

I first started blogging when I met a Canadian woman who lives and works in Puerto Plata, RD. She asked me to join her team of bloggers - The DR Blondes. I then started my own personal blog where I sometimes write, or simply cut and paste content that I like to share. Not many people visit my blog but I became great friends with another blogger that I've never met to this day. Mainly I write along the theme of love. The people, places, poetry, music and even recipes that I love. You'll see that I love Victor Jara, Mercedes Soza, Pablo Neruda. I then started another blog for an English language conversation group that I conducted and really I just used it to post information about upcoming outings the students in the group didn't really jump into blogging.
